AN APPEAL FOR APPEALS COURT CANDIDATES
“It is not my job to change the law; that is what the legislature is for.” - Todd Frankfort, Candidate, 1st Court of Appeals, Place 3.

You may wonder what an Appeals Court in Houston has to do with your life in Grimes County. You may say to yourself, “I’m not familiar with these names. I’d rather not vote than elect the ‘wrong’ Republican.” When faced with uncertainty about a candidate, the reality is that an uncast vote IS a vote of sorts which favors their opponent.
As for the “wrong” Republican? You may not agree with all Republicans all the time – after all, we are critical thinkers! But that R by their name tells you exactly what they believe in – God, life, freedom, limited government, accountability, family, education, defense, free enterprise and service.
These justices hear civil and criminal cases from Grimes and nine other counties; cases related to probate, juvenile and mental health matters, guardianship, civil matters between $200 and $250,000, divorce and land disputes. Because life can turn on a dime, anyone of us could find ourselves in a Houston Appeals Court. Don’t scroll by their names and allow your case, or that of your neighbor, to be judged by a social justice warrior in a robe more concerned with your ‘privilege’ status than by the merits of your case.
Vote for justices committed to the rule of law, judicial restraint, upholding the Constitution and resolving cases fairly and efficiently. Finish the job of restoring integrity to the Texas court system – Vote Republican!
